After a longtime of working in food service (about a 5 years, 24m) and leaving for 2 years, I tried to find different careers with not much success expect a carpet cleaning company for almost a year, that didn’t work out, left in April this year 2023. being unemployed as I type this and with more then 100 applications in the last 14 days sent in w/ 2 interviews in that time, I have to resort back to old habits and return to the work I so hated. I mean it’s quick money but it’s so incredibly hard to land anything outside my experience it’s so discouraging. nobody emailing or calling or contacting me in any way is that normal ?
Is anyone else having an incredibly hard time job hunting ?
