This is how I told my manager I’m quitting:

I gave my 2 weeks notice tonight after 9 years of loyal service, thoughout covid lock downs, during snow storms and holidays, and more. I can't go through the many numerous reasons why I am quitting right now, but my panic attack at the end of my shift today (haven't had one in years) was the last straw and a sign that I had to quit procrastinating and begin my exodus from this job. I am applying for a different position at the same company that is much better, but I might have to take like a 5 dollar paycut, unless they happen to offer me a higher wage than what is offered (it happens) for my years of experience and loyalty to the company. We will see. Fingers crossed. And if not, no biggie. I move on and find a better job that hopefully I love. I'm pretty optimistic.
