Husbands employer is comparing him to his co-workers AND expecting him to compete with them or loose his job.

He got this employee improvement plan on Friday and had no idea this has been an issue. He takes his time to insure he provides a healthy, safe, and quality product. Often times his jobs take longer due to picking up the slack from his co-workers who cut corners to be faster. Oh and his JPR (Job Preformance Review) was done by a co-worker not supervisor or manager! Is this unprofessional?
