I was hired onto this company two months ago. We usually do large/luxury weekend rentals. I get paid 18hr. There are seemingly a lot of problems w this company. I get paid an extra $10 for transportation per day, but some of the cleans I'm driving more than an hour and a half round trip which is more like $20+ in gas. Not just that. Today BossLady put me on a residential clean!!! It is disgusting. Everything in the kitchen covered in grease and food splatters, spills and so much moldy food in the fridge. Not enough sheets to complete the clean. They left $160 cash and I wasn't sure what it was for but my boss said it's for her when I'm not even making $60 on this clean. Last shift I cleaned puke from all over a bathroom and still got bitched at for leaving a few little hairs behind the toilet. I'm so sick of this. I'm sitting here typing this so exasperated and I considered pocketing the cash and walking out. Plus they hired me on to be full time and they aren't even giving me 20 hours a week “because it's the slow season,” allthewhile she's trying to bring on new hires. I'm so sick of it and physically ill with some of the nastiness they make me deal with. Not sure what my plan is. Just extremely frustrated.
