Excuse my english as it is my first language. My workplace never offers to buy breakfast, but as a reward for our good work from doing stock-check (which is long, boring and constant counting) the managers offered to buy everyone breakfast, in which was approximately 15 people.
I did intend on ordering my own breakfast before being offered but honestly I have never felt so small in a room full of people eating their breakfast and me, stood there like a lost puppy looking at a empty tray of what was a stack of breakfast boxes. The most disrespectful thing was when I asked the Manager, “who ordered the breakfast” and they blatantly ignored me. I have no idea why they’ve treated me like this, and I do intend on never helping out on stock-check again and will enjoy un-paid time off next time. Fu*k em’
