Not a conspiracy person, but…

It kinda feels like influential forces are trying to manipulate people to go back to traditional work patterns. Things I see are… 1. The obvious push for employees to return to the office. 2. The resistance of the Fed to reduce interest rates and almost induce a recession. 3. Gig app companies like Uber, DoorDash, etc are doing waves of deactivations (at least in my area of the country). 4. Oil prices are cost prohibitive. Clearly this could just be a perfect storm. But it feels like a covert effort to regain leverage over labor markets. I wish there could be a revolution of sorts and a major pushback. I’m 48 and I’ve never been so stressed. The word that best describes how I feel is PROVOKED.
