I have been working with recruiter to help me with finding a new job. I had a teams interview with a law firm this morning. The interview, I thought, went good. Then less than a hour after the interview, the recruiter calls me and says that the firm is not moving forward with me.
I asked the recruiter to what happened. And of course, the firm didn't give a reason. I told the recruiter that I felt what the firm did was highly unprofessional and that juries have more time to deliberate.
This was utter bullshit. How can a potential employer reject a candidate, less than a hour after an interview. Particularly in a time when employers are constantly saying, “nobody wants to work”
I have been rejected before, but after a couple of days. But, this was was just unprofessional.
