AT&T added a new bonus scheme -for us call center workers- to run for 6 months (will add the formula on the description of the picture). They abruptly cancelled it today. How is this okay?

So, if you achieved the metrics for the first month you got $50. If you were able to do it on the second month you'd get $100 which then went to $150 for the third month and then $200 and then $250 and finally $300 in November. We just got an email about record profits some weeks ago. Like this is so wrong while we can barely afford a life as call center agents.
