I quit my job the other day

Like the title said I've been working for my company for at least 7 years. They are a multinational multi billion dollar company that's run so poorly its pretty ridiculous. I had a traveling job that never really had written rules from the company and I've been doing it for 5 years. So we had an assignment that they changed all the rules and I found out that because of where I live they gave a raise to one of our other sites that added almost $5 more than what I was making. I've helped that site for months and have been one of the hardest working people of my company for years. When I brought up that they should pay me more since they gave the site I've helped a raise I was told that because I didn't report to that site I don't get the raise. Then they had a global operation where they changed the rules (that were never written) and treated us like new workers. When the assigment was done I brought up that I wanted to be paid more or treated better. The company told me because it was a global operation they couldn't treat me better, and they couldn't pay me more because that would be “unethical”. I had a meeting with my boss' boss and the head of global operations (who make significantly more than me and have much better work life balance and lives than I do) saying that if nothing changed I would quit. They fought me on everything, gaslit me and told me they couldn't treat me better or pay me more so at the end of the meeting I resigned from the company. I didn't want to quit my job but I had to stand my ground.
