I do a full time apprenticeship working for a pathetic £5.53 per hour. It’s my second week and we’re not allowed phones during work hours, so I’ve been taking it to use in the toilet for less than 5 minutes. Today my manager told me someone pointed out that i’ve been taking my phone to the toilet, and they’re wary of it because an ex worker would take toilet breaks and sit on her phone for 30 minutes, like what’s that got to do with me?
