A new co-worker with my org's division has been hired on I had never met. He was following another co-worker shadowing,onboard. Everyone met in the middle, formed a circle, all the while conversing about everyone's workday's tasks. New person is not introduced to me, new person doesn't introduce them-self, and I introduced a contractor to the co-worker I am on speaking terms with. I had assumed that this signaled anyone to introduce the new employee, even themselves. Why wouldn't they?
