work is a SCAM. why am i working 12 hour shifts and the only employee who isn’t a manager/owner who knows how to prep the fish, and my paycheck is less than $500 i had my hours cut a bit the weeks of the 11th and 18th because of a bad review but on average ain’t no way the pay period was for less than 50 hours. even if im trippin and only worked 45 hours, where my tips at? i’ve been noticing my paychecks have been skimpy but i thought maybe tips have been bad or i miscalculated my hours, but this time it’s so egregious.
i just get direct deposit with no pay stub, i know i should be asking for those but im honestly just so tired of fighting my bosses for my wages and getting gaslit into believing im getting paid the correct amount. it’s a losing battle every time and ive gotten fired from jobs for bringing this up.
