So I’m going to be pretty vague about my job but you’ll get the picture.

I work for a top utility provider in the US. Over the past 6 years, they have combined 3 departments into one for the sake of efficiency. But every move is to save money so we can give our directors, vp's and president the best bonus each year. Incredibly under staffed to the point that people can stay out of power on a blue sky day for up to 24hrs because no one can respond. Most days field workers are responsible for over 600 square miles. It's extremely unsafe for the guys in the field and makes the public think we're bad at our job. I use to work for Idaho Power and that company wasn't perfect, but they weren't borderline criminally negligent so that they can save money. I only make about 3500 a month which isn't terrible but for the amount of stress and people I answer to,…
