Prepared and entire presentation for an interview while they were hiring someone else

This past Monday I had a first interview with the company owner. I was immediately told it went well and that I should expect to hear from them. By Wednesday morning I was invited to round two, where I would present on a topic they provided. We agreed on Friday, two days later because they “want to move quickly”. Fine, it was a time crunch but I got my slides done by Thursday afternoon. Thursday night, they reached out to say that they needed to reschedule the interview to the next week but that they were still looking forward to chatting with me. Friday morning I get a call from the recruiter saying another candidate accepted their offer. So to recap, I spent two days, per their request, preparing a multi-slide presentation while they were simultaneously offering the job to someone else. Clearly no respect for anyone else’s time.
