I work in a warehouse doing inbound. We’re a distribution center. All the warehouse associates come in at the same time and clock out at the same time. We don’t have a set time to clock out. When all the work for the day is finished, then we are allowed to leave. We never know what time we’ll get out because it just depends on the workload for the day. Right now is peak season which means we are working 6 days a week for 10-14 hours a day because of the holidays. We were working for 16 hours today and my manager said we still had one more truck to unload which is going to take over 2 hours to finish. Me and 3 other people said f this and we left without saying anything. If you think I’m going to work 18 hours in a single day you are smoking some shit. Get the fuck out of here.
