For all of you that are struggling, why haven’t you tried getting a real job?

No this is not a troll, this is a serious question, and no I’m not attacking you for not trying hard enough I’m genuinely curious why you still pursue your career in molecular biology that pays $15/hr, or a dead end programming job of a similar fashion when there are actual in demand jobs out there that you could be getting into, no one on this sub that complains about pay is an electrician or a plumber, you can get a CDL and get $30/hr in like two months, yes I know those jobs suck but it really can’t be that much worse than what you are doing now. My family is all a bunch of deadbeats, my parents have college (neither of them are using it) my siblings and me have little to no education, but everyone of us deadbeats makes $20-$30 per hour, doing sucky jobs or weird…

If you look at my profile I am not in the best financial shape due to reasons, but that will be changing soon, even I can figure out how to make at least $25 in a few months, if I am not making that already. No I am not attacking your waitressing job, I know you have it hard, but please give me a reason why you have not tried doing something other than collecting a crappy paycheck, I worked in real estate last year and although I failed in it I still saw my colleagues making pretty decent money within a few months of getting their license, some of them actually do pretty well, and these are people that started from nothing.

Here’s my thought, back in the older days there was a huge push that every American should go to college because that’s what you have to do to make good money, and it seems like there has been an over saturation of that and now the crappy manual labor jobs are what’s in demand, because these jobs don’t give social status, straight up suck to do but damn do they keep the lights on and put food on the table.

So what’s your opinion on my take? There’s no wrong answers, this is a judgement free discussion.
