Does it make me a bad person if I hate non-profits more than for-profit corporations? I've worked for three of them in the past, and never had a good experience. The first one I was installing alarms for. They'd have a guy who constantly harassed me and my coworkers. He'd constantly complain in the hopes that he'd get discounts. The second one was pretty much a garden people would get charged admission to see. My boss's kid got laid off and he gave him my job. I recently applied for an office position at a homeless shelter. I got an email asking me to submit an application. I pointed out that I already submitted one. The hiring manager said that it was filled out wrong, but didn't say exactly what. Why she couldn't just get the missing information from me via email or off of my resume I do not know. 2 months later I got an email saying that the position had been filled. By that time I had a job somewhwre that actually paid better.
