Background; 15+ years in the hospitality industry.
Trained someone. They have stalked me. I have told my GM. Salker ended up quiting. Tried to discredit me 1st. Told some I lied about him, not knowing that the coworkers I spoke of were already questioned. Funny what I said has not changed once. His has at least 3 times.
He has done this before at other jobs. Makes our housekeepers uncomfortable, to put it mildly.
Boss went on vacation, so asked him to come back.
In the course of 1 12 hour shift I had 5 phone calls that were him. I have to answer the phone and he knows it!
He followed me, from my street to my job.
I am not afraid, but I am so angry I want to scream.
He is flat out a predator.
He currently is walking around as if he can not be touched.
What happens if he makes a master key and harms a guest? Or a coworker? (I know I should be fearful for myself, but in this case I am to pissed to be afraid) If he did, understand I would be the 1st to point out that I let it be know he was like this.
I am at a loss. I love my job.
But the mental BS is getting to be too much.
The fact he makes mistakes that I spend more time repairing than helping guests is just icing.
Is this illegal? Is there any legal recourse I would have?
