Fuck employers checking Cred Scores

I was denied a position because my credit score tanked 100 points in 2 months. After doing research, it's because I changed credit cards and deleted a major company from my phone after paying off the debt entirely. 3 months later, Valueco doesn't accept my new major creditcard. This is the same creditcard my bank uses so I couldnt swipe my debit card. I swiped my old card I happened to discover in my wallet, thinking to myself “I need to pay that”. 3 months later, I forgot to pay the $26.34 charge because I never got an alert (admittedly my fault). They charged me for the 30 day delinquency, then charged me for the 60 day delinquency. Didn't notice it until I checked my credit score and it dropped from 795 to 711. New company shows all of your outstanding balances and realized I missed the $26 charge. Paid…

Paid the $56 charge for $26 worth of items as soon as I noticed and figured they got over double their money so they should be happy. They apparently weren't, and hit me for 84 points to my credit.

I have had 100% on time payment history for 7 fucking years, usually because when I come into any money I put it into bills and get ahead of them. The only thing at “Average” in their evaluation is my credit history which they consider young at 7 years. I can't improve that without a time machine. Everything else is either “Great” or “Exceptional” in their terms.

Called both credit cards for them to give me the run around and tell me “it is what it is. It should go back up when they all realize this was a “one time thing””.

How can a $26 delinquent charge, one time missed in 3,555 days, result in an 84 point reduction in your credit score?

You stopped a fucking change in my life that would have added to my increase in spending through your company, you twats!

I don't really have a point, I'm just pissed.
