My boss just informed me that the position/promotion I took in July is a salaried position and I will not be paid for the OT I put in since then and I owed the company back pay for the OT I paid myself. Ordinary, I'd say it'd work out since some weeks I don't work a full 40 hrs, but I did often in the last few weeks. Can he do that? I didn't know I was changed to salary. He only mentioned the hourly rate change not salaried change. Idk why I'm so hung up on this!
