I know this might sound dumb, but for those of you that WFH, does your boss understand you taking the day off when sick? Mine has the old school mentality that I’m already home, I should be able to work unless extremely ill. I have COVID right now and not feeling the best and since we’re short staffed and I’m the only one trained for my role, they’d be livid. Obviously I know it’s not my responsibility for their lack of staffing. Anyone else get this attitude from their boss? I’m the only one who works from home and my managers are all old so I feel like it’s just impossible for them to grasp that I work just as hard at home. I know they think I’m living some cushy relaxing lifestyle. My job is extremely demanding and I can’t slack or it’s very obvious.
