I work as a printing press operator in a direct mail marketing company (I print junk mail). These jobs always have a lot of overtime but lately we've been working 10 hour shifts 6 days a week, and today I was just told (not asked) to come in Saturday and Sunday. We're in a state where forced overtime is legal and employees can be fired for not accepting overtime, is there anything I can do to push back on this? I had to cancel all my plans I've had for weeks because of what I assume is just shit management and scheduling and I'm very frustrated. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
