My coworker likes me, but gets irritated easily

I work at a restaurant at my university campus. There’s a guy that works with me named “Andrew”. He flirts with me sometimes and I like him too but I’m just too shy to say anything back. For the most part, Andrew is a very good coworker. He’s very helpful and well spoken. I’m not going to take that away from him. But he just gets mad sometimes for no apparent reason. About two weeks into us working together, he and I talked for about an hour, because work was so slow. He told me about a traumatic incident that happened to him as a teenager. Later that day, was the first time that he started being rude. It was so out of left field and the whole day I kept trying to justify to myself like “ it was really busy” and “it was a high stress situation”. There…

There will be times where I do something and he’ll sigh or roll his eyes. He’s not afraid to hide it either. He does it right in front of me.
