I guess I'm just looking to complain but here's the situation. My GF works for a Banfield pet hospital in GA. She loves working with animals and is very competent in what she does, but she keeps getting her hours cut because the location can't book enough pets. (It just totally out of her control but manager makes it out like it is their fault) here's the thing though she can't pick up another shift at another location because they don't cut enough hours off, as then she would be getting overtime which management won't approve. So she she is stuck working a 33 hour week schedule. It just drives me insane because this is completely management's fault. The one benefit for working for a faceless corporation should be that you don't have to worry week to week about numbers, but no they rather pay their employees bare minimum and cut their hours when it suits them because the manager won't do their job right. It just drives me up a wall because I currently work at a company that is completely employee owned (only employees own stock and is rewarded on a yearly basis) which I really appreciate and this would never be okay there.
