I get small incremental raises at my job every year. I am very good at what I do and have a skill set and training that no one else at my work has. I know I am under paid but unfortunately when I fight my case, it never ends up with the increase I’m looking for. I am thinking about lying to my boss and putting in my two weeks to help give me leverage for the raise I really want. I think it will work because if I really were to leave, they would have to pay a contractor to do the work that I am doing in-house and they will lose a lot more money than just giving me what I think I’m worth. Questions:
What if they ask where I’m going?
What if they ask what I will be making?
Do you think this will work, has this worked for anyone on here?
