We work alternating Saturdays. If you work that Saturday ur day off is during the week, if you don’t work that Saturday you work Monday-Friday. 10-12hr shifts. Everyone has Sunday off bc dealerships cannot by law be open Sunday.
Just happened my Saturday off is the day of eclipse which I MUST see from the path of annularity which is 4.5hr drive. I wouldn’t make it back to town until 4-5pm
30mins before end of my shift Friday (today), after already worked every day this week, he wants me in tomorrow NO!! Dealerships are exempt from overtime, so no $$$ benefit to me there either.
