I find myself on my day off from being a cold prep line cook in restaurant fighting to find beauty and purpose in my life. Geesh that's deep lol.
But I just wanted to say that 45+ years in this industry has NOT been kind however on my hours off from this stressful occupation I search high &low for the beauty of this world.
And that's not easy but I'm proud of myself for searching and I know you guys are out there doing the thankless & demeaning work and searching for that beauty too.
I salute you and want you to know that you are valued, important and sacred in a sense cause we are shining our light despite our shi**y circumstances and SHINE ON we shall!
That in itself is the beauty of an indomitable spirit that does NOT quit!
