I work at a 100

There is a strong culture of paranoia and hyper vigilance and the company size is less than 100. I spend much of the time in internal and external zoom calls and sometimes things I’ve mentioned in a 1:1 meeting have been (mistakenly) mentioned to me or specific phrases I’ve used. Or sometimes they think I’m lying about something they already know the answer to and try to drop hints. Things I’ve said in emails have come up. I’m not close to being fired—it’s just what they do to everybody. I feel violated and in turn paranoid myself. There is Zoom and a ton of spyware. So even though Zoom has some limitations to how much it records you, there is screen recording from the spyware. Is this normal. Are there any legal implications?
