Done – Out of the Workforce

Today was my last day. I'm done. I'm going to be a stay-at-home mom to my kids. It will be tight money-wise, and I'm so blessed that I can, but my mental health cannot take this bullshit anymore. I thought some of you (not you lurking bootlickers) would like this story: Since having my kids, I have tried working in every way, possibly remotely (full-time, flex hours, part-time, freelance). Everyone wants me on call 24/7, and I cannot do that and care for my kids. I got a task last time at 4:00 p.m. when I was supposed to finish at 5:00 p.m. to write down my entire job process and then put it into a workflow graphic key they gave me. I got a task last time at 4:00 p.m. when I was supposed to finish at 5:00 p.m. to write down my entire job process and then put it into a workflow graphic key they gave me. I thought, excellent, like I need more on my plate (I worked until 2:00 am the night before because I was in meetings all fucking day and wouldn't have met my deadlines). You've never guessed the deadline they gave me for this, 8:00 p.m. that night—four hours' notice to write down and graph an entire process involving three shops.

No two weeks' notice. I gave four hours' notice—goodbye, workforce. I'm done.
