My company recently sent an email to the work emails AND a text to everyones private phones wanting people to complete a “culture” survey. It said it was anonymous and not to mention your supervisors name to give away your identity. Many folks refused to do it but I foolishly took the survey being completely candid in my responses. Our work place is toxic and the level of disfunction is high. No communication, unrealistic expectations, zero training.
Today at morning meeting, it was mentioned that 40% of the employees had yet to take the survey. How would they know that if it was anonymous? Then the leader of the meeting mentioned that not all responses were positive and looked directly at ME. Maybe I'm just paranoid. But maybe not.
