Based on experience – an exec member at my workplace seems to be so rude towards me. every time I see him i smile at him and greet them, you know out of respect! But they never respond, always have a straight face and sometimes look grumpy. until one day I just stopped trying and not even bother acknowledging them. He has since given me dissatisfactory looks one time for walking the same direction as him.
I'm not even a new member of the team, been here for more than 2 years, I have worked my way up recently. I am no intern but it feels like they treat me like one. It feels discriminatory. I just find it unbelievable how just because someone is above you at the workplace hierarchy, doesn't mean you can be rude and condescending? Am i supposed to kiss your feet because you're an executive? In my view, we are all human and idgac about your position, I'm here get money and not please you.
