Let´s start from the beginning.
i am currently based in south america but i recently started working for a company whose name sounds similar to grout that deals with post purchase fullfilment for e-commerces. you will surely know about the massive layoffs 6 months ago and how the CEO is a complete idiot.
the offer was the typical 8am to 6pm office hours on a work from home scheme, i wish i had known that offer was going to be a nightmare and a headache as soon as i signed on.
Of those of us who recently started working with them, less than a quarter of us are left, I really regret working with them given the behavior of the superiors, the general state of the tools are still down, the training is more like “guess it yourself how it works” because it really sucks, given that they have been using the same slides and exams with outdated policies for years.
2 days after I signed the contract, they decided without warning to change my workday to the night shift clashing with my studies, to add responsibilities that were not in the contract and to reduce my pay in general, emphasizing that the rest of the mentioned pay would be marked as “production bonus” and that I would get it when I filled my “quota”, When I asked human resources why they had changed my workday, instead of answering me they decided to move my workday 2 more hours at night just because I asked them, now I am being forced to stop my studies just because human resources has blocked me and hasn´t answered yet .
