Being overworked, what are my options?

I was let go earlier this year. I was able to get unemployment, thankfully, and it was the only reason I managed to keep afloat. I keep my expenses to a minimum. The place is understaffed due to previous management stealing and stuff. They have me working 60 hours a week open to close M-S. I have asked for higher pay and a day off and was told that the store didnt have the funds to raise the pay or hire more people. The job overall is easy, but the hours are getting to me. What options do I have? I know 20 hours for free is illegal somehow. Thanks in advance!
