Alert or just no-show?

How should I handle this? I requested time off for holidays 6+ months ago and I have high confidence that I will be scheduled during those holidays. I've already decided I'm taking the holidays regardless and I am moving to a new location (city, everything) very shortly after the holidays. should I 1: let them know when the schedule is released that I'm unavailable during those times? or 2: just not show up?
