When I interviewed for my current job 1 year ago I was told there was a company wide “Flex Friday” meaning you were off every other friday.
This was a deal breaker for me. This is a massive US company by the way.
Out of the blue last month the president announced via a HR portal announcement they were ceasing this as post Covid business requires everyone needs to work more.
How would you feel about this? It was a major draw for me and people are really upset.
I’m not crazy about the job in other ways anyway but mainly I just think it’s a shitty thing to do.
Our work was getting done just fine and we all do occasional weekend time when required.
