Manager called me on the phone and said that I was being let go, and then later emailed me and asked for confirmation of resignation. I thought based on the phone call I was fired so I 'confirmed' over email. I later learned this was a tactic to fuck up the severance that I would be owed had I been fired. Is there anything I can do?
