Did the employer lie? Or the recruiter? Or was it a misunderstanding? Help.

The job post the external recruiter had sent me included hybrid working as a benefit. 3 months in the employer says it's only for when I'm sick or occasionally and that it's not easy to work from home regularly. The manager who is a Trump-eteer had the nerve to be condescending and say (translated but this is the gist of it), “I think your mind is able to understand that we cannot make promises. Remember this is a great opportunity, we are even working for you, so you can gain experience here.” And a lot of bullshit and beating around the bush. ???? They said that there was never any discussion of hybrid work with the recruiter. Then how come the job post was published like that???? Don't employers check it before it's published? I am feeling misled and angry.

I would appreciate some advice on how to approach this.

Could it be possible they did not lie? However this is news to me that wfh 1x week is discouraged, since my direct coworker does it.

I asked the recruiter and she said hybrid work is always up to the employer to decide, and that it's normal to not wfh during the 6 months probation.

That was 2 weeks ago. I'm thinking of asking my next up again, if HR has said anything else. And tell her that she has to understand how from my end i was told one thing and now i learn it's different.

When i asked to wfh she quickly said yes but then when i took wfh again the following week they created all this confusion.

Also today i was alone in the office with her and she sneezed with her mouth wide open, so loud, not even turning away or covering, when she usually holds in sneezes. How disgusting. Fuck her if she did it on purpose. I'm always respectful and hard working. She knows i'm germophobic and even SHE is always sanitizing. So why would she do that? She's all nice and friendly the rest of the time.
