Why should they care?

Why should your bosses care about you? Let’s look at your car for an example. You use your car to get you to A and B. That is it’s primary function. Now if your headlight bulb defects, what do you do? Do you put your resources into fixing the defected bulb? Probably not. Why should your bosses care about you?

Let’s look at your car for an example. You use your car to get you to A and B. That is it’s primary function. Now if your headlight bulb defects, what do you do?

Do you put your resources into fixing the defected bulb? Probably not.

Do you ignore it and continue on with only one headlight doing the work of two? “If it works, it works.”

Do you replace it with a new or used one that works? More than likely.

This is how our employers look at us everyday. We’re nothing but a replaceable piece in their theoretical car that isn’t worth saving when new ones are created each day. When there’s used ones that are cheaper and will do the job just as right available in less than a week.. or the worst of them all is when they force the last one remaining who can do the job an extra workload.

So I ask again, why should they care?
