I applied for a position around 11:15 pm my time. Got a rejection at 7:58 am the next morning. I am certainly qualified for the position and it’s by no means a stretch job.
In my experience it typically takes at least a week to get a response at the earliest, and anything earlier than that is more often than not false advertising or the company is desperate. I’ve even received some rejection letters YEARS after applying.
Was I baited into joining some sort of mailing list? It’s a fairly well known company but seems very odd they’d send this out before business hours.
