What's up fellow reddit warriors.
I started a new work/learn job about 2 months ago. I'm hired as a student and paid as a student.
Now the problem i have is that during these two months they have overloaded me with work and time-limits that only a fully certified dental technician can and is allowed to do.
I spoke to another colleague about this and he said that i should work according to my salary, but that's easier said than done and simply not in my nature. He also said that my position should only be to look at the work my colleagues are doing and sometimes have little projects of my own without a time limit.
However i have a feeling that they want to get me up to their level as quick as possible (because one co-worker goes with pension next year and it's a dying field of work) for the least amount of money as possible, the bare minimum actually.
Now me and my wife can make it through the month financially every month but still i feel like i'm being used because i learn too quickly and have a strong work ethic.
What would you guys recommend me doing in this situation? Ask for a raise? Work according to my salary? Help
