I miss what I had at my old location

Venting please don’t judge the last work related post I did got me a ton of hate. So i started working for this company in early July. They had me temporarily training at a location that was further away for me until the current location opened up for about a little under 2 months. It was too far for me to stay long term since I’m a non driver but I made it work for the time being. I met this women in early 40s (I’m 23). We developed a pretty good rapport. Then one day she complimented my nine inch nails shirt and we both shared a love for metal music. This is super rare to find in another female especially one I already had a connection with prior. She offered we’d exchange numbers and of course took her up on the offer. From then on, we would text a lot and sometimes nearly every day and she would always hype me up and tell me how amazing I am and how pretty I was. But then the inevitable happened, I had to leave that location as the new location opened up. I gave her some of my old band merch as a parting gift. She kept telling me how we were gonna still keep in touch after the work place ended and how she’s always here. Don’t get me wrong, we did for a couple of weeks or so. I want to hang out with her and invited her to my place but she constantly kept pushing it off or dodging those texts (she lived 45 mins away from me that probs why). Eventually she stopped reaching out. The last time I texted her it took a day for her to respond to the point we’re I thought she ghosted me. She eventually responded but then shortly stopped responding after that. Also another girl wanted to hang out with me at that location too but of course that never ended up happening either.

At this new location everyone became best friends super quick. Sure I’m friendly with my coworkers, a couple follow me on instagram, and we exchange pleasantries. But none of them have similar interests with me so it hard to have any kind of relationship with them outside of work. Note that my autistic, goth/alternative, and have unique interests so I always struggled having friends. I’m constantly comparing myself to other coworkers socialization to the point it’s making me uncomfortable to work. I constantly ponder if I lived closer to the old location and/or stayed at that location if things would have been different. Me and that coworker would still be talking everyday and I wouldn’t care what others are doing because I would have her. It was the first time I felt like I actually had friends at a job when I was there. I was genuinely excited to go to work everyday. I know friendships shouldn’t matter much in the workplace but I’m starting to feel the effects.
