I service fire extinguishers full time but only make $600 a week. The guys that go out to the customers make more than twice what I do but I can't save up for a used work van so I can do that. I'm one of the few people at my company that can service system cylinders and only one of two that services halon/halotron extinguishers. I understand that my job isn't as important as an actual fire fighter but I still feel like I deserve to be able to afford a place of my own.
