The company I interviewed with sent me an email saying “congrats, Chicken Dinner, you are the final candidate,” and requested my consent to do background check through a third party company.
They ordered up the background check 6 or 7 days ago. I received a copy of the completed report from the background check company two days ago. They ran me through 6 different criminal databases and nothing, not even speeding tickets were on it. But I have not received an offer yet. I am sitting here with just my dick in my hand and no offer letter.
What the hell's going on. What are they waiting for. Did they seriously pay $1500 for a background report for no reason? It is almost 3 months to the day that I first applied for this job online (end of August), done three interviews with them, plus this background check and I still haven't gotten hired. If I'm the CEO I'm asking, how do you justify taking this long and all these resources to fill one position and you still haven't gotten it done?
