I went to college and have a graduate degree. I finally got a high ($75k/year) paying job about a year ago that had good benefits. Inflation has essentially wiped out any financial gains this job was giving me. But hey good benefits right?
Just found out insurance is almost doubling in cost come January, the cost to park at work is increasing by $250 annually (I already have to pay $600 annually), and to add insult to injury they are lessening our PTO accrual from 23 days to 18. This is sick and vacation combined.
I feel like I bust my ass to just stay in the same place. I never make any progress!!! It’s infuriating!
