How to stop caring about performance when you hate your job (quiet quitting)

I’m gearing up to leave a job that is making me absolutely miserable. I feel physically sick she I login. Everytime I get a notification from my boss my heart sinks. I was put in this role after redeployment. I told HR it’s not suitable and I am not equipped to do this job, but they don’t care and said to give it more time. It’s been 6 months and I haven’t had adequate training or support. Management is bad. We are expected to just figure it out, put in extra hours, we are understaff and workload is huge. It’s work from home and in another state, no one is checking on me. I am DONE. I am burnt out. I have decided I am going to leave… but I have no savings. So I need to stick it out a while longer. I have good references from people I’ve previously worked with, who no longer work in this company so I don’t need to be concerned about my future reputation. I also don’t ever want to work in this industry again. But for some reason Im scared of getting in trouble or letting my team down while
Quiet quitting.
