We had a “Town Hall” meeting this week designed solely for Q&A with our leadership after them dodging our questions for at least six months. With RTO having gone into effect for us last month, this is of course the #1 topic, followed by a lack of cost-of-living increases the past 2 years.
One of these clowns actually had the audacity to tell us we’d all received an “artificial raise” when the pandemic occurred by no longer having to pay for commuting, childcare, etc., and that we should’ve been spending this time saving money so that coming back into the office and paying for these things again wouldn’t be such a hardship.
Meanwhile, this company told us over and over again that we’d never have to come back into the office if we didn’t want to.
This meeting was 2 days ago and there was no shortage of bullshit coming from their mouths during that contentious hour of questions, but I am still so fucking mad at that terrible take.
