A nba player makes millions? Because we watch their games, buy their products, follow their ins, click the ads.
Apple makes billions? Because we buy iPhones, iPads, AirPods, because part of us are chasing the trend.
TikTok make billions? Because we are bored and lazy.
Facebook make billions? Because we care about what others think.
DoorDash make billions? Because I am too lazy to cook.
I tried minimalism and dopamine detox, but I just can’t stick to it. I’m already heavily addicted to these instantaneous stimulus. My brain is damaged, maybe living like a inferior creature tuned to material splurge, no matter how little it is.
I don’t think it will get better if most ppl continue living like this.
