I just got fired from my toxic minimum wage pizzeria job. I feel free!

Apparently I’ve been taking delivery orders wrong. What exactly I’ve been doing wrong, I don’t know and today is the first time I’m hearing about it. Thing is, the procedures change frequently and new things pop up all the time. This place is very unforgiving of mistakes and does little to help new employees. And it makes employees take/study for a test to stay employed there. Whatever, I’m tired of putting forth my all for a toxic company. Plus it’s not a big loss since I was working few hours to begin with. I’m also a substitute teacher who sells plasma, so I might need a summer job but that can wait. Hey, with any luck, I’ll be a full-time teacher before that happens. I know some of you will probably say, “You deserved to get fired because you made mistakes” or “it’s a job, it’s supposed to be hard.”…

I know some of you will probably say, “You deserved to get fired because you made mistakes” or “it’s a job, it’s supposed to be hard.” Idgaf because you don’t know how exactly this place operates and how awful it is. I should have learned my lesson from working at McDonald’s that I’m truly not cut out for food service – which is a horrible industry to work for anyway. I’m a substitute teacher who, when I first started, got blacklisted from a few schools but after 7 years as a sub, I’m well-established in quite a few schools and am a go-to sub for quite a fee teachers. It’s a matter of being a good/bad fit for particular industries, that’s all.
