So my old job is horrible. The work is fine but the people are a nightmare. The owner especially is incredibly lacking in professionalism and any kind of human empathy. I reached the point where I decided it wasn’t a good fit for me and found another job. I received my offer letter and planned out a start date. Did my drug screening and background check and am just waiting for those to come back but I know they’re both fine. My issues is I seriously don’t even want to give 2 more weeks to this place. Every day I come in and get berated over some non issue. I’ve noticed the environment has started to bring up my anxiety because I never know what crappy thing is coming next and I just hate it there. Would it be bad to tell my new job that when I put it my two weeks they decided to let me go and I’m available sooner?
