Qualifications:
• High [school] diploma or equivalent degree.
• Degree in Broadcasting , Media , Communications – highly desirable
Mandatory Requirements:
• Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
• Willingness to submit to a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Fluent Spanish
• Interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly during daily broadcasts.
• Versatile and capable of learning specialized software applications and have an aptitude for operating electronic equipment
• Great attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Desired Requirements:
• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Knowledge, understanding and INTEREST in broadcast and production technology.
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly during daily broadcasts.
• Availability to work all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, late breaking news and hurricane emergencies.
